I forgot my PIN. Tap "I forgot the lock" on the lock screen and answer your recovery question. Without a recovery answer or a backup the diary cannot be opened — not even by us: it is encrypted on your device.
How do I move my diary to a new iPhone? Settings → Copies → export the encrypted backup, save it (Files, AirDrop…), then on the new device choose "Restore backup".
How do I remove ads? Today or Settings → "Remove ads" (one-time purchase). "Restore purchases" brings it back on a new device.
