If you allow it, the app reads your approximate or precise location to show the fuel stations around you. The coordinates are sent to our server (fuel.ikonetsolutions.com) only to search the stations within the radius you chose; they are not stored, not linked to any identifier and not shared with anyone. You can also type a city instead of using GPS. When you search a place or calculate a trip, the text you type is sent to OpenStreetMap Nominatim and OSRM to find the place and the road distance.
Prices come from official public sources: the Italian Ministry of Enterprises (MIMIT – Osservaprezzi Carburanti), the French government (prix-carburants.gouv.fr), the Spanish Ministry for the Ecological Transition (MITECO) and, for Germany, Tankerkönig / MTS-K (CC BY 4.0). No personal data is involved.
Price reports and reviews you write, your settings and the "unlocked for 24 hours" state of premium features are saved only on your device. We do not receive them.
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. Google may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising identifier / IDFA), approximate location derived from the IP address and interaction data to show and measure ads. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland the app asks for your consent through Google's certified consent form before showing personalised ads; on iOS it also asks for permission to track through Apple's App Tracking Transparency. If you refuse, you may still see non-personalised ads. You can change your choice at any time from the device settings. See how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
FuelSaver Pro is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see your payment details; the app only checks with the store whether you own FuelSaver Pro. Pro removes all ads.
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
